Step by Step:

The right way to do your makeup is however you love it! But, if you feel like eyeshadow makes your eyes look droopy or heavy, try these tweaks. It really makes a big difference! 🫣

DOs:

With the fluffy side of the Eyeshadow Brush, tap into both Lullaby & Sedona eyeshadow (to mix together) and sweep it over the lid and high up into the crease. Focus on blending upwards rather than outwards.

TIP FOR HOODED EYES: Make sure the shadow is blended high enough that you can see it peeking out above your lashes. Keep your darkest shades only at the outer corner.

With the smaller side of the brush, apply Revival (the darkest shade) in a V-shape in the outer corner.

Keep shimmers on the inner ⅓ of the lid. I used Drift – it’s a light vanilla shimmer that goes with EVERYTHING — and applied it with my fingers.

TIP FOR EYES WITH SMALL LID SPACE: Overlap a bit of your shimmer shadow onto the fold of the crease. This will give the illusion that you have more lid space than you actually do. Which adds an illusion of lift!

Flick your eyeliner in the outer corner, then use a flat brush (maybe your concealer brush!) to softly sweep it up and outward into a baby wing.

Add a soft shadow under the bottom lashes instead of harsh eyeliner – I used Sedona since it was already a part of this look.

TIP FOR LIFTED LASHES: Warm your lash curler for a few seconds with a blow dryer to really set a curl in your lashes and keep them lifted.

Use a lightweight mascara that doesn’t feel heavy. I really like OFIR’s Waterproof Mascara for lifted lashes! Since it’s waterproof, it holds a curl really well. Waterproof mascaras are typically harsh on lashes, but this is the most gentle/comfortable formula I’ve used.

TIP FOR HEAVY/HOODED EYES: Instead of heavy shimmer under the brow, highlight with a matte ivory pencil. This makes a HUGE difference!

Makeup should always be fun!
